Road Side Assistance
A friend's car broke down and he called for road side assistance. As we are rushing for time, he told the company to send someone with the best experience.
They send us Jessie! We are not sure at all that if she can fixed the car.
She claimed that she is the best in this business and has served many satisfied customer by the road. But this is the first time she had to service 2 pistons at a go. OMG! Did she meant that 2 pistons in the VW engine are spoilted.
We asked her how long she need to service each piston, she turn around and told us that typically with her experience and skill, she can do it in 15 minute.
Told her that we are rushing for a meeting and if she can do it right now and can finish the job in 30 minutes, we will allow her to do it.
Once we said that, she throw away her tops (I think she did that so as not to dirty her white top).
She then asked: "Which hot piston should I service first"
We told her to quickly service both at the same time as we are running late.
She told us that to service one at a time, its $200 each, but to do both at the same time, its $500.
WTF. She think we can't count ? 2 x $200 = $400 but she wanted $500.
She explained that things can get very messy if she got to do 2 at a go.
We told her that at the backyard garage we can get the piston service at $100 each and we just did that months ago, servicing 4 at a go and paid $350 only.
She stared at us disgustedly and say that her services is the best and she do not give discount.
Since we are running late and were very disappointed with her level of service, we called for a cab and a tow truck.
She got very angry, shouted at us and left.
I urge all you readers out there to stop using this company if your car break down. The service is really lousy and they have really bad attitude.
By the way, this is the number my friend called: 1900-RoadFun.

Sexy Mechanic working on a R34 Skyline
My Sexy Asian Mechanic called me, telling me that there is a R34 Skyline up in her workshop for tuning. But she is not feeling too well, hence she got a colleague to attend to the Skyline.
It was an extremely warm afternoon. It just got hotter once I saw the mechanic.
She was attending to the wheels when I walked in. Obviously not too happy to have extra company.
She even threatened to chase me out. Ouch !
She explained that this car had caused her a big headache ...
And she will lose her top if she cannot finish it on time. (I am crossing my fingers that she can't do it on time)
I told her that I will just hang around and watch and promised to be a good boy.
She told me that if I try anything funny, she will use the bar on me. (Geee ... I think all the long hard bars are her best friends)
She is activating the NOS on the car for the final tune on the dyno machine.
Look at her great smile and you can guess that she had once again did a great job on the car.
I suspect that this R34 Skyline that got featured in Carbon Clad was the car that she was working on.
(Just kidding, but if she was really the mechanic, I am sure the owner of the car will be smiling all the way to the bed.)

[Nissan News] The Infiniti Essence
This might just be a wild concept by Infiniti.
But it definately caught my attention. Look at those curves !
Finally, electric and hybric cars are getting interesting. They can be fast, real fast and yet does not consumed as much petrol as traditional supercar does. (Hmmm ... but what need to be burnt to generate electricity ... hmmm).
This Infiniti Essence concept is powered by the same 3.7L V6 Twin Turbo engine (VQ37DETT) as the Nissan R35 GT-R. The electric motor produces 158 hp and combinely, a total of 592 hp and an estimated combined torque at 1088 Nm.
Even with such high power, Infinity claim that the Essence can do 12.5km on every liter on petrol. Wow!
Is everything that are said is true, this Infiniti Essence might just be the No.1 competitor of its cousin, the Nissan R35 GTR.
